Following a successful inaugural run last year in Long Beach, the second annual Music Tastes Good will return to the Marina Green Park on Saturday, Sept. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 1.
Much like last year, which included performances by the Specials, Squeeze, Living Colour, Warpaint, Dr. Dog, Iron and Wine and De La Soul, this year’s event boasts a similarly eclectic line-up, with headlining turns by alternative rockers Ween on Saturday and rock band Sleater-Kinney on Sunday.
In partnership KRCW-FM/89.9, Music Tastes Good rounds out its robust roster with British rock band Ride, funk and soul artist Charles Bradley, East LA rockers Los Lobos, rock band Of Montreal, Dr. Octagon, the alter ego of rapper Kool Keith, electronic performer Peaches and English new wave and synth-pop band Heaven 17, alongside nearly two dozen others.
