Help us crown the country’s best water parks, splash pads, theme parks and dude ranches

With summer just around the corner, 10Best is on the lookout for America’s top summer vacation experiences, especially for families traveling with kids – theme parks, indoor and outdoor water parks, splash pads and dude ranches. We’ve enlisted a panel of family travel experts to help us narrow down the field to 20 nominees per category, and now we need you. 

Vote once per day for your top choices in each category until voting closes on Monday, May 22. We’ll tally your votes and announce the top 10 winners on Friday, May 26.

Best Amusement Park

Nothing says “summer vacation” quite like a day at an amusement park. The United States is home to more than 400 amusement parks and attractions, visited by some 375 million guests each year. We asked a panel of theme park and family travel experts to nominate their favorite parks in the nation for the title of Best Amusement Park. Now we need you to help us crown a winner.

Best Outdoor Water Park

When the summer gets hot, there are few better ways to cool off than a day at a water park. According to the World Waterpark Association, there are more than 1,200 water parks in the United States, and we’re on a quest to find the best.

Summer fun is at hand year-round thanks to these 20 indoor water parks, where temperatures stay steady at around 84 degrees no matter the season. These parks feature all the same thrills as their outdoor counterparts – slides, lazy rivers, wave pools and play structures – without the sunburn.
