- Bookmakers slashed odds of Seamus Coleman moving to Manchester United
- The Everton full-back said he was unaware of the rumours: ‘It’s that time of year’
- Instead the Irishman insisted he was simply focussing on his next fixture
Seamus Coleman has been linked with an 11th hour transfer to Manchester United but the Everton right-back insists he knows nothing about the speculation.
On Monday bookmakers, not always the most reliable of resources, slashed the odds on Coleman moving to United to 1/3.
‘It is that time of year. I haven’t heard about the story. I am preparing for a game on Wednesday and that is all I am concentrating on,’ said the 28-year-old, who was speaking at launch of the Spar Better Choices ad campaign.
