There is no friend like an old friend.
Golden Globe-nominated actress Wendie Malick shared this sentiment about both her longtime pal, television and Broadway actor Dan Lauria, and the play “Love Letters,” which the two actors will bring to Laguna Playhouse this week.
After 25 years of friendship and working together, Malick and Lauria said they are thrilled to put on the two-person romantic Broadway production for an engagement of four shows Thursday through Sunday.
“We always have a fantastic time together, onstage and off, and we hope this play will show that chemistry we have,” said Malick, who is best recognized for her roles in the television shows “Hot in Cleveland” and “Just Shoot Me.”
