It breaks my heart to think that there are unwanted dogs in the world. Please adopt from a shelter or rescue. By working together we can save them all.

Britt Robertson, star of the highly anticipated comedy series Girlboss, which launches on Netflix Friday, April 21, knows every dog deserves the chance to find his or her own humans and reason for being.
Girlboss is inspired by the New York Times best-selling book #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso, founder of the fashion brand Nasty Gal. The series centers on Amoruso (Robertson), who began selling vintage clothes on eBay and, by the age of 27, had built the multi-million dollar fashion empire, Robertson was most recently seen in Mr. Church, opposite Eddie Murphy, and in The Space Between Us. Additional credits include Garry Marshall’s Mother’s Day, Nicholas Sparks’ The Longest Ride and in Tomorrowland, opposite George Clooney. Many know her from the CBS show, Under the Dome and her two CW series, The Secret Circle and Life Unexpected.
Robertson shares her life with two former stray dogs who go to work with her every day. “Buddy and Clyde are my most loyal companions,” she said. “They are also each other’s best friend. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. It breaks my heart to think that there are unwanted dogs in the world. Please adopt from a shelter or rescue. By working together, we can save them all.”
According to national statistics, each day nearly 5,500 dogs and cats die in the nation’s shelters. Best Friends has brought increased awareness to how people can get involved in the solution by adopting, spaying/neutering their pets, donating, volunteering and sharing this message with their friends.
